Top Sports Gambling Platform Revives Popular Collegiate Tourney by Offering Free Participation with Live Commentary and Cash Prizes

The cancellation of the NCAA’s March Madness brought all college sports fans to standstill as the most anticipated tournament of the basketball season ended before it even began. In response to the cancellation, Sports Gambling Podcast (SGP), a company known for their top-scale sports news and analytical approach to picking teams to ensure monetary gains, is launching a free simulated collegiate basketball tournament, ‘Degen Madness.’

The simulated series of games designed to fill college sports lovers’ void,features 30 NCAA basketball teams and will officially tip off on Thursday, March 26, 2020. All Degen Madness games are completely free and the SGP team will be giving away $3,000 in cash prizes. Participants that finish in the top eight rankings will be eligible to win a cash prize in addition to receiving SGP swag from their merchandise store. The games are simulated on NBA2K20 using a customized NCAA roster and will be available to watch on SGP’s YouTube, Twitter, Twitch and Facebook pages.

The Degen Madness tournament allows each player to enter once and is scored on a point system. The participant will earn 10 points per correct game in the first round, 20 points in the second round, 40 points in the third round, 80 points in the fourth round and 160 points in the final round.Again, the top scorers will win cash prizes.

“The sudden end to the collegiate basketball season brought complete devastation to our fan base and left them questioning what to do with the remainder of the season,” said Sports Gambling Podcast co-founder and host Sean Green. “Alongside my co-founder, Ryan Kramer, we wanted to bring our listeners together and give them a tangible way to stay engaged with their beloved sport while they can.”
